Metro station

Nea Elvetia

The network's eastern terminus and a key interchange for the eastern districts and Pylaia.

The eastern terminus of one branch. It works mainly as an interchange: bus routes from the eastern districts and suburbs terminate here.

Get off here for

  • Bus connections toward Pylaia, Panorama and the eastern neighbourhoods.
  • Access to the ring road and Pylaia's large shopping centres.

Good to know

If you're coming in from the eastern suburbs by car or bus, Nea Elvetia is the natural place to leave the road and take the metro; you skip Egnatia's traffic and the parking problem downtown.

Where it puts you

At the eastern edge of the dense urban fabric, where the city begins to open toward Pylaia and the ring road.
