25is Martiou
The network's junction: here the Nea Elvetia branch and the Kalamaria branch divide.
Operationally the most important station on the network, and the only one where you need to check which train you're boarding.
The junction
Up to this point every train follows the same route from the New Railway Station. From 25is Martiou onward the network divides into two branches:
- toward Nea Elvetia (Voulgari → Nea Elvetia), to the east;
- toward Mikra (Nomarchia → Kalamaria → Aretsou → Nea Krini → Mikra), south toward Kalamaria.
Good to know
If you're heading for Kalamaria, Aretsou or the airport, make sure your train shows Mikra as its terminus. Platform and in-car displays show the final stop of each service.
Where it puts you
In a densely populated eastern area, on the boundary between the Toumba and Analipsi districts.
