Edessa is the "city of waters": a cool, green escape unlike any other destination near Thessaloniki.
The waterfalls
The city's trademark is its waterfalls, the largest being Karanos (~70 m), among the tallest in Greece. They tumble through a landscaped park with paths, little bridges and a cave behind the water.
